ICSR Lab is the perfect tool for working with large volumes of research metadata and metrics, testing your hypotheses with comprehensive and structured datasets, or performing analyses where you are in control of the calculations. Inter-institutional collaboration project groups can share and collaborate in notebooks in real time, benefiting from access to the exact same datasets and libraries, ensuring your code always generates the same results.
Our Slack community means you can chat with other users to seek help or share insights, and regular office hours are an opportunity to troubleshoot coding questions together with Elsevier Data Scientists.

Bibliometricians, scientometricians, informetricians or other researchers with great ideas are welcome to apply for access. Users can experiment with large volumes of structured research metadata with little practical, administrative or legal overhead.
Working in the Lab you also join a community of like-minded researchers: in our Slack workspace you can share tips and learn new techniques.
What will you analyze?

Is this right for you?
No-cost access to ICSR Lab is available for non-commercial research studies that are time delimited and have the potential to be published in the peer-reviewed literature; access is subject to acceptance of a submitted project proposal following review. No-cost access to ICSR Lab does not include any type of institutional/organizational research evaluation or assessment nor rankings analyses*.
