Prof. Wojciech Kujawski was graduated from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Poland) where he defended also Ph.D. Thesis. was graduated from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun (Poland) where he defended also Ph.D. Thesis. President of Polish Membrane Society (2015-2023), member of the Council of European Membrane Society (2009-2012 and 2015-2018).
Principal investigator of national and international projects funded by NATO, Visegrad Fund, Polish National Science Centre (NCN), National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR), and National Agency for the Academic Exchange (NAWA). Coordinator of Emerging Fields at the NCU as Leading Research University: (2020-2022) – Polymer sciences and multifunctional materials, (2023-2025) – Applied polymers, nanomaterials, membranes, and nanocomposites. Research professional with over 35 years of experience in education, research, and international cooperation. Author and coauthor of over 190 papers (Scopus) and over 200 conference contributions (CI»5400, H=42-45). His main research interest is related to membrane separation processes (e.g. pervaporation, membrane distillation, thermopervaporation, gas separation, ultra- and nanofiltration), membranes in food processing, ionic liquids for task specific membranes, ion-exchange membranes, bio-polymers, fossil and bio-fuels, bio-energy, as well as the modification and functionalization of polymeric and ceramic membranes. He cooperates with several research groups in France, Spain, Portugal, Finland, UK, Italy, Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Sweden.
