Talk: Greening membrane desalination: it is time to build trust and guarantee sustainability
Teresa de la Torre is a Chemical Engineer specialized in membrane technology for water reuse, a topic she has worked in since 2007. She was a Marie Curie fellow in the Berlin Centre of Competence for Water and the Technical University of Berlin, where she carried out her PhD in MBR fouling.
After that, she started working at Acciona R&D Department, where she was working for 12 years. The last four years of this period she was leading the R&D group of Wastewater Treatment and Reuse, participating in projects dealing with forward osmosis, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, and anaerobic MBR, among others. Since 2022 she is working at Sorigue Innovation Department, where she is managing R&D projects related to water, waste management and energy.
