Space Activity: Impact on Science and Technology contains the proceedings of the 24th International Astronautical Congress held in the USSR on October 7-13, 1973. Contributors focus on the contribution of space research to the development of science and technology, including biology and medicine. This text begins with a discussion on the role played by Soviet automatic vehicles in the progress of space automatics and control theory.
