Dr Hom Dhakal is a Professor at the University of Portsmouth, UK and has 27 years’ experience in teaching, research and publishing in the area of material processing, design, properties, and the lifecycle of materials including metals, composites, polymers, wood and biomaterials. He is one of the leading scholars in sustainable, bio and lightweight composites/nanocomposites with over 100 international peer reviewed publications.

Dr V. Arumugam is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, MIT campus Anna University. He has established the Composite material characterization center at Department of Aerospace Engineering at MIT Campus. He is also actively involved in a number of consultancy and sponsored projects. Dr Arumugam. V has 25 years of teaching experience and has published a number of papers in international Journals with high impact factor especially in the areas of acoustic emission monitoring of composite structures and impact damage characterization.

Jefferson Andrew J is a research scholar (Ph.D.,) in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University and a recipient of prestigious Anna Centenary Research Fellowship (ACRF). His area of interest includes Polymer composites, Composite repair, Acoustic emission monitoring and Digital image correlation. His research has strongly concentrated upon explaining the most influencing roles played by the post cure-temperature, the reinforcement phases and the external patch hybridization on the mechanical performance of the patch repairs in damaged composite laminates.
