Siddhartha Bhattacharyya [FIEI (I), FIETE, LFOSI, SMIEEE, SMACM, SMIETI, MIET(UK)] is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Christ University, Bangalore. With over 20 years of experience in academics, he has authored/edited more than 50 books and more than 250 research publications in international journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include hybrid intelligence, pattern recognition, multimedia data processing, social networks and quantum computing.

Václav Snášel's research and development experience includes over 30 years in Industry and Academia. He works in a multi-disciplinary environment involving artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, information retrieval, knowledge management, data compression, machine intelligence, neural network, nature and biologically inspired computing, data mining, and applied to various real-world problems. Studied numerical mathematics at Palacky University in Olomouc, Ph.D. degree obtained at Masaryk University in Brno, he teaches as a professor at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. From 2001 to 2009 he worked as a researcher at The Institute of Computer Science of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Since 2009, he has worked as the head of the research program, Knowledge Management, at IT4Innovation National Supercomputing Center, and since 2010, he has been the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. Prof. Snášel has authored/co-authored several refereed journal/conference papers and book chapters. He has published more than 500 papers (340 papers are indexed at Web of Science, 560 indexed at Web of Science at Scopus). He has also supervised many PhD students from the Czech Republic, Jordan, Yemen, Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, India, China, Libya and Vietnam. He also supervised postdoc students from the Slovak Republic, Uruguay and Egypt. Besides serving as the Editor-in-Chief of two journals, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Neural Network World, he is actively involved in the International Conference on Computational Aspects of Social Networks (CASoN); Computer Information Systems and Industrial Management (CISIM); and Evolutionary Techniques in Data Processing (ETID) series of International conferences. He has been guest editor of 8 special issues including SCI indexed journals, ASoC and CAEE, etc. Invited as a Faculty Resource Person/Session Chair/Reviewer/TPC member in different FDP, conferences and journals. His research area includes human-computer interaction, intelligent data analysis, nature-inspired computing, machine learning, and soft computing.
