Contemporary Studies in Economics and Financial Analysis is a series designed to include titles covering a wide range of topics within the fields of economics and finance. Our purpose is to publish scholarly efforts that advance our understanding of domestic markets and the global economy. We apply the following criteria in making our selections for inclusion in the series; 1. The work must be of the highest academic quality; 2. The subject should be of interest to an audience of academics, professionals and university students within the fields of economics and finance; 3. The published material will be appropriate as supplemental material in undergraduate and graduate courses in economics and finance. We do not, as a rule, accept textbook manuscripts, although some of our volumes contain information useful to practitioners in areas such as financial management, forensic economics and public administration.
