    Michele Conti

    Dr. Michele Conti is Associate Professor of Industrial Bioengineering at DICAr Department of University of Pavia, Italy. In 2011, he received his joint PhD in Biomedical Engineering (Pavia University, IT and Ghent University, BE). Author of 61 papers on refereed International Journals and 6 chapters in international books. Expert in cardiovascular biomechanics, numerical and experimental analysis of endovascular devices, life support systems; he has a strong interest in novel technologies in biomedical field including 3D (bio)printing.

    Michele Marino

    Dr. Michele Marino is an Assistant Professor, Tenure-track Young Professorship (Rita-Levi Montalcini Program) of Mechanics of Materials and Structures at DICII. From 2015 to 2019, Alexander von Humboldt post-doctoral fellow (2015-2016) and Group Leader “Predictive Simulations in Biomechanics” (2017-2019) at the Institute of Continuum Mechanics, Leibniz University of Hannover. Since 2015, he is President of the Italian Chapter of the European Society of Biomechanics and, since 2018, member of the board of the Biomechanics Group of the Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics. Author of 25 papers on refereed International Journals and 6 chapters in international books. Expert in multiscale constitutive modelling, multiscale finite element analyses, parameters identification and optimization problems, chemo-mechanobiological modelling, damage mechanics.
