    Biochemistry by Metzler

This is a really valuable book and an absolute must for those seriously interested in Biochemistry. I bought the first edition many years ago and read it cover to cover several times. Absolutely fascinating and well written. For that reason I had to buy the latest version and it is a tremendous improvement.
