A Text - Book of Histology: Descriptive and Practical provides information pertinent to the general methods of histology. This book systematically describes the structure of the tissue or organ. Organized into 17 chapters, this book begins with an overview of the structure of the body as seen under the microscope. This text then discusses the general methods of staining reagents, clearing, mounting, and injection of blood vessels. Other chapters explain the different stages in karyokinesis, including network or resting stage, convolution, wreath, monaster, and dyaster. This book discusses as well the microscopical examination of amphibian and mammalian blood and examines the effects of reagents on human blood.
