Description
The liver has an important role to maintain not only the physiological and biochemical, but also the immunological homeostasis within the body. Articles presented at the meeting of the 5th Takahashi Memorial Forum are contained in this volume of Progress in Hepatology. Topics discussed include Immunology and Hepatitis, the involvement of T cells in hepatocyte death in HCV infection, and the important role of the formation of complex virus-derived proteins in the development of gromerulonephritis. The intent of Progress in Hepatology 5 - Liver and Immunology is to keep the readers updated in the recent progress in immunological research on liver diseases.
