GLOBAL WETLANDS: OLD WORLD AND NEW
Global Wetlands: Old World and NewBuy online with a credit card in the Elsevier Science & Technology Bookstore: External link http://books.elsevier.com/elsevier/?isbn=0444814787

Edited by
W.J. Mitsch, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA

Description
This book contrasts both wetland ecology and wetland management in the Old and New Worlds. The diversity of wetlands covered is extensive, with discussions on many "crown Jewel" wetlands of the world. Examples from the New World include the Pantanal (Brazil), the Paraná River Delta (Argentina), and the Chesapeake Bay (USA), among others.

This book will be of great interest to all tidal/estuarine ecologists, ecological/environmental engineers, environmental scientists, and nature/landscape conservationists; it will help to provide new directions for the 21st century.

Contents
(Selected papers.) Preface. List of Contributors.
