This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved
both by the scope and structure of the journal, key features of which are:-
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other
bibliographic data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each
journal issue, of abstracts into separate chapters concerning e.g. diagnosis of endocrine disease, treatment, and the roles of hormones
in various physiological or metabolic systems. Items concerning the exogenous use of hormones for non-endocrine diseases, non-hormonal
aspects of carbohydrate, lipid, nucleic acid or protein metabolism, or prostaglandins are outside the scope of this journal.

Detailed author and keyword indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special interest.
