	TRENDS IN IMMUNOLOGY Former title: Immunology Today Guide for Authors Trends in Immunology is now review only, and is divided into three main sections: Update, Opinion and Review. We do not provide sets of author guidelines for Trends journals unless an article has been comissioned by the Editor. However, proposals for articles are welcome, especially for the Update section. Prospective authors should send a brief summary of around 200 words, citing key references, to the Editor, who will supply guidelines on manuscript preparation if the proposal is accepted. The submission of completed manuscripts without prior consultation with the Editor is strongly discouraged. Authors should note that all major articles in Trends in Immunology are peer-reviewed, and commissioning does not guarantee publication.
