Excerpta Medica Abstract Journal
Description
This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved
both by the scope and structure of the journal, key features of which are:
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other
bibliographic data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each
issue, of abstracts into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers the application of biophysical principles
to the development of instrumentation, the use of automation in biomedicine, biomechanics and bioengineering. It includes imaging techniques,
surgical instrumentation and electro-diagnostic techniques, automation of instrumentation and medical informatics.
• Detailed
author and keyword indexes to allow the user to locate items of special interest.
