Editors Guide

New editors often face difficulties in approaching the task of editing, frequently it is new to them and they feel awkward about asking the publisher for advice. This is the feedback the Academic Relations department of Elsevier received from a number of editors who recently attended the Elsevier Editors' conferences. As a consequence Academic Relations commissioned Carl Lampert, an editor with Elsevier for over 20 years, to write a guide for newly appointed editors.

Being the Editor-in-Chief on a Primary Research Journal is meant to be an introduction to editing for primary research journals. Feel free to download the guide.
