Description
The uses of PET and PET/CT imaging in the diagnosis, staging, and follow-up of cancer continues to expand, and in this issue of PET Clinics, the use of positron emission tomography with regard to gastrointestinal cancer is reviewed. A general overview of PET/CT is provided along with an article on normal variants is provided. Imaging of esophageal and gastric, colorectal, pancreatic, liver and biliary duct as well as neuroendocrine tumors is covered.
