Description
As the American population ages, communities are ill-prepared to meet the long-term care needs of older people. This issue of Nursing Clinics contains a plethora of information related to vulnerable populations and what can be done to help those in need. Some of the articles contain information on access to care, injury prevention, determining standards of care for substance abuse and alcohol use, promoting oral health among the inner-city homeless, and community-based nursing interventions to address intimate partner violence.
