Description
The review content in Mosby's Canadian Comprehensive Review of Nursing, Second Edition covers each major clinical area, with separate
chapters to address Canadian components of practice and legal issues. The book includes an introduction for students preparing for the
exam. A CD-ROM also features additional self-assessment questions (about 1,000 in MCQ format). The booklet provides 100 short answer
questions based on 27 original scenarios. Like the CRNE, each individual case is followed by 2 - 5 questions, each with a varied number
of answers. Each question notes the competency and taxonomic level (Knowledge/Comprehension; Application; Critical Thinking) being tested.
Each question is linked to the content found in the text and the page reference is provided so that students can clearly see the linkage
between the supplement and the text and easily read up on the content if they incorrectly answer a question. Answers are provided at
the end of the book.
Now available packaged with Mosby's Canadian Comprehensive Review of Nursing, Second Edition, this booklet
addresses the recent revisions to the Canadian Registered Nursing Examination (CRNE). The new format of the exam has been revised as
of June 2005 with the addition of short answer questions. The exam now consists of 240-260 questions (a mix of multiple-choice questions
and short answer questions), each of which is designed to measure a specific competency required for nurses' entry to practice.
