Description
Innovations in Adolescent Substance Abuse Interventions provides, for the first time, a single reference source for state-of-the-art,
empirically tested approaches to assessing, preventing, and treating adolescent substance abuse problems. Previous texts on adolescent
substance abuse have given limited attention to intervention, have been non-empirical in orientation, or have been devoted to a single
intervention approach. This is remarkable given increasing international concern about how to address substance use problems among youth.
The book includes sixteen chapters from leaders in the field, and the scope of the book includes assessment, primary prevention, secondary
prevention, and treatment.
A limited number of inspection copies of this book are available for qualified course instructors. Requests
