Description
This dictionary is especially strong in terms in the fields of mechanics, electricity, engineering, metallurgy, welding, construction,
mining geology and electronics, as well as including multiple business, legal, labor, management, and chemistry terms, to name but a
few. It also contains many non-general technical terms, included in, or in addition to other equivalents, thus strongly complementing
any regular bilingual dictionary.
A special feature is the inclusion, in most cases, of the field in which the term might generally
be used. Fields are given in slightly abbreviated form, so an index of abbreviations is not entirely necessary although such an index
is supplied. Grammatical indications abound, such as parts of speech and gender. Adjectives are included, giving both genders.
The
dictionary has been prepared basically for translators and interpreters, although it will be of equal value to anyone working with both
languages.
