Dr. Bhopal is Director of the Pedagogy and Curriculum Research Centre at the University of Southampton and has researched and written about ‘race’, ethnicity, gender and equal opportunities inter alia. We welcome Dr. Bhopal to the Editorial Team and wish her and the journal well for 2010 and beyond.

Announcing new Editors for Poetics
Elsevier is pleased indeed to announce that Professor Timothy Dowd (Emory University, USA) and Professor Susanne Janssen (Erasmus University, The Netherlands) will be taking up the role of Editors of Poetics from January 2010.
Both have served on the Board for many years and we wish them and the journal very well. We are further pleased to announce that the outgoing Editor, Professor Kees van Rees will remain affiliated with the journal as Emeritus Editor.
