| Professor Raj Chetty |
We are pleased to welcome Professor Raj Chetty, Harvard University, as the new Co Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Public Economics. We would also like to thank Robin Boadway, who stepped down from the role in early 2009, for his contribution to the journal.
Raj Chetty is a Professor in the Economics Department at Harvard University. He also serves as Co-Director of the Public Economics Program at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Chetty’s research focuses on theoretical and empirical work in public finance and applied microeconomics, including topics such as optimal taxation and social insurance, risk preferences, liquidity constraints, labor supply, corporate taxation, and behavioral public finance. His recent honors include the 2008 American Young Economist Award and an Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship. Chetty received his Ph.D. from Harvard in 2003 and was a professor at Berkeley before returning to Harvard.
