“It is truly an honor to take over as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Business Venturing (JBV). I see JBV as the leading voice of entrepreneurship research (2008 impact factor = 2.143). My vision for the journal is to continue to publish high quality, interesting entrepreneurship research that comes from diverse perspectives (including economics, psychology, and sociology), diverse organizational functions (including finance, marketing, management, and strategy) and diverse contexts (including international and sustainability [environmental and social]). We encourage authors to submit their interesting entrepreneurship research (regardless of discipline, function or context) to the journal. We have an editorial team and reviewers in place that will provide high quality, timely decisions (and feedback).” (Professor Shepherd).
