PNFA Young Scientist Award

Photonics and Nanostructures


We are pleased to announce that the journal, Photonics and Nanostructures - fundamentals and applications, has awarded a young scientist with a  PNFA Young Scientist Award.

The 2007 winner is Scott Kennedy from Calgary, Canada who was awarded with a certificate and 1500 Euros at the PECS-VII conference dinner in Monterey, Tuesday, April 10, 2007.

Qualifications for the award include: awardees are under 40 years of age, have published a paper in PNFA, and have not been a previous award winner. The final selection will be determined by the number of citations received for the paper published in PNFA by the nominee.
