How to create a direct link to articles

As a further service to authors we offer direct linking to their articles. Creating a link is simple. For this you only need to know the Digital Object Identifier, or DOI of an article. This "number" can be found on each article, both in the printed and electronic version. It is typically of the form 10.1016/S0375-9474(02)00757-1.

You should paste this DOI after the standard URL, i.e. the link looks like http://dx.doi.org/<DOI>.
In the above example:

External link  http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/S0375-9474(02)00757-1

This unique link directly takes you to your article on ScienceDirect. Elsevier and the International DOI foundation will work together to keep this link correct, regardless of actual location of the article.

Access to the abstract is free for all, access to the full text and reference links depends on the user's entitlements. Please feel free to use this as a link on your home page.

All you have to do now, is find your articles on External link  ScienceDirect  and by browsing the journals identify the DOI for the articles of your interest.
