Editor-in-Chief - Call for Applications

The current Editor-in-Chief of Learning and Individual Differences, Elena Grigorenko, has decided to stand down after 9 successful years in the role. Elsevier is currently seeking a successor to head up this internationally regarded journal and is issuing an open call for applications.

The mission of the journal has been to provide an outlet for scholars and practitioners in psychology, education, and related sciences, who are interested in the field of individual differences with an emphasis on learning across the life-span. The journal is published bimonthly. To learn more about it, please visit http://www.journals.elsevier.com/learning-and-individual-differences/.

The new editorship will likely begin January 2015 depending on a transition schedule to be determined with the current Editor-in-Chief. In appreciation for his or her work, the Publisher will provide the Editor-in-Chief with a modest stipend.

Applicants should have a strong academic background in one of the areas covered by the journal, a significant academic network in the field, and ideally have past or current editorial experience with journals.  For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to send a cover letter and CV via e-mail to the Publisher, Ann Corney, at a.corney@elsevier.com no later than 1st October 2014, after which applications will be evaluated on an incoming basis.

Editorial inquiries should be directed to the current Editor-in-Chief, Elena L. Grigorenko at elena.grigorenko@yale.edu.
