We realise that reviewing takes up your valuable time, and we, and our journal editors are very grateful to you. As a token of our appreciation, we offer you, our journals' reviewers, 30 days of free access to Scopus via EES.

Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of research literature and quality web sources. Scopus can help you to search for related articles and articles by the same author to assist you in completing this review. You can also use Scopus for your own research needs. During your 30-day access period, you can access Scopus at work or at home using the login instructions below.


How does it work?
After accepting the invitation to review and receiving the manuscript, sent to you by the journal's editor, you will be prompted to activate your Scopus access in your "assignments page" in EES. You can also access Scopus via the “Scopus author search action link” within EES.

Your 30-day access period will start from the first time you log into EES and activate your Scopus access. However, if you would prefer to save it until a time that suits you better, you can activate your access any time during the next 6 months.

During your 30-day access period you can also access Scopus at home, by going to www.scopus.com/reviewer and using your EES login details.

ScienceDirect for reviewer research

When reviewing scientific, technical and medical (STM) articles, you may desire additional information or resources. In addition to 30 days of free access to Scopus, we also offer reviewers 30 days free access to ScienceDirect via EES. 

How does it work?
Your ScienceDirect access is automatically activated when you activate your Scopus access. During the 30-day Scopus access period you can access the full text articles on ScienceDirect via Scopus.

ScienceDirect is one of the world's most advanced web delivery systems for STM information. Through ScienceDirect, you have access to over eight million full-text articles - more than a quarter of the worlds electronic STM information.
