ICL PrizeCongratulations to Professor Georges Boulon on receiving the 2011 ICL Prize in recognition of his contributions to the chemistry and physics of doped luminescent solids, including inorganic crystals, glasses, glass-ceramics, and ceramics as well as polycrystalline and nano-materials
The award was presented at the 2011 International Conference on Luminescence and Optical Spectroscopy of Condensed Matter (ICL '11) in Michigan, USA.
All workers in the field of luminescence are eligible to be considered for the Prize. The award will recognize the accomplishments of an individual in theory, experiment, or in applications. The contributions must have had a recognizable impact on the science and technology of light emissive properties and materials. No time limitations are placed on the work to be cited. There are, of course, no restrictions on age, race, sex, or nationality of the individual to be recognized by the award.
