    The 2012 Impact Factor figures for Energy & Fuels show that, as in previous years, Elsevier publishes many of the most influential journals in the field, with 14 out of the top 20 titles in terms of Impact Factor, including Progress in Energy and Combustion Science ranked 1st, and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Applied Energy and Bioresource Technology ranked 5th, 6th and 7th respectively.
