The IChemE Journals
Editors’ Choice: A Selection of Articles
"To foster and develop the advancement of chemical engineering in all its branches" is the charter of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, which represents over 35,000 members worldwide.
To this end, IChemE publishes four peer-reviewed journals: Chemical Engineering Research and Design, Process Safety and Environmental Processing, Food and Bioproducts Processing and Education for Chemical Engineers.
The journals, which are also the official journals of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), were first published as the Transactions of the Institution of Chemical Engineers in1923. Since then, they have seen continuous expansion, and today they represent well over 2,500 pages each year, of the latest research across the full spectrum of chemical engineering.
This collection of articles presents some of the best papers published in 2012 or 2013 across the four journals and selected by the editors, both for the importance of the research and the quality of the presentation.
We hope you will enjoy this flavour of the research published across the four journals.
