QUOSA’s Latest Release Features New iPad Functionality and Other Exciting Updates!
QUOSA has upgraded its service to provide better access via the iPad, expanded Current Awareness options, and more “self-service” capabilities so end-users can set up their own alerts and manage their own folders.
QUOSA Browser accessible via iPad
We have improved support for the Safari browser on the iPad to give you full access to the Virtual Library.
Expansion of server-based alerts
In addition to Embase.com, Our server-based alerting is now being extended to PubMed and Journal RSS feeds. By running alerts on the server, you can be assured of seamless coverage even on holidays and other downtimes. As with Embase.com alerts, you can direct the alert results to particular locations in the Library and assign appropriate tags. It’s easier than ever to see what’s new.
Insert citations while you write reports
We’ve added the ability to use your QUOSA Browser Plus to insert references and bibliographies into Microsoft Word.
Report generation for end users
Users of QUOSA Browser or QUOSA Browser Plus can now generate PDF, CSV and Word style reports that link to full text in the VL, similar to the classic QUOSA Information Manager reporting functionality.
End users can save searchers and set up personal alerts
Users can save their favorite searches in the Virtual Library and use the new self-subscription feature to create personal email alerts when matching new content comes in. In addition, they can create personal folders in the Virtual Library and access them remotely. To find out more about QUOSA, please contact us at sales@quosa.com.
