PHYSIOLOGY (SECTION 2 EMBASE)
Physiology (Section 2 EMBASE)Excerpta Medica Abstract Journal

Description

This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved both by the scope and structure of the journal, key features of which are:-

• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other bibliographic data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.

• The arrangement, within each journal issue, of abstracts into separate chapters concerning organ system physiology (e.g. circulation neurophysiology) together with chapters devoted to cell and membrane physiology, altitude (space) physiology and sports physiology. Coverage is restricted to mammalian physiology unless the article is of interest to medical science.

• Detailed author and keyword indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special interest.

Related information may be found in other Excerpta Medica journals, notably Section 5: General Pathology and Pathological Anatomy and Section 21: Developmental Biology and Teratology.
