Description
The Journal will provide a forum for publishing original contributions and comprehensive technical review articles
of interdisciplinary and original research in static and dynamic energy conversion; energy efficiency and management; heat pipes; thermosyphons
and capillary pumped loops; thermal management of spacecraft; space and terrestrial power systems; hydrogen production and storage; renewable
energy; nuclear power; single and combined cycles; miniaturized energy conversion and power systems; fuel cells and advanced batteries;
and water management and desalination. Papers of high technical merit addressing significant advances in the field and state-of-the-art
developments are sought. All sources, forms, storage, and uses and all conversion phenomena of energy are appropriate, whether static
or dynamic conversion systems and processes and energy storage. This includes, but is not limited to, solar, nuclear, fossil, geothermal,
wind, hydro, and biomass, process heat, electrolysis, heating and cooling, and electric drive applications, as well as commercial, space,
industrial, transportation and residential applications. Energy conversion includes, but is not limited to, thermoelectricity; thermionic;
photoelectric, thermal-photovoltaic; magneto-hydrodynamic; Brayton, Diesel, Rankine and combined cycles, and Stirling engines; hydrogen
and other advanced fuel cells; and various forms of batteries, and energy storage. As all these topics are constrained by official energy
policy, articles on energy policy that impact the evolution of these technologies will be accepted. As the Journal is international
in scope, papers dealing with state-of-the-art developments in various nations, or comparative studies of energy conversion and management
in several countries will be accepted.
