Zoologischer Anzeiger is devoted to comparative zoologywith a special emphasis on morphology, systematics,biogeography and evolutionary ecology targetingmetazoan taxa. The broader aim of the journalis to contribute to our understanding of theorganismic world from an evolutionary perspective. The Zoologischer Anzeiger is one of the oldest German zoological journals.
