Neurology, Psychiatry and Brain Research
Neurology, Psychiatry & Brain Research publishes original papers and reviews in neurology, biologically oriented psychiatry and psychotherapy, neuropsychoimmunology, neuropsychiatry and the neurosciences. Interdisciplinary and translational research is particularly appreciated.
Neurology, Psychiatry & Brain Research is the oldest German journal in this field – it was founded in 1878 as the Centralblatt für Nervenheilkunde, Psychiatrie und gerichtliche Psychopathologie. Building on this long tradition, Elsevier has taken over publication of NPBR as of Vol. 17 (2011).
NPBR offers optional open peer-reviews and communication by high-ranking scientists (CI > 20). Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscript in their native language as supplemental data to the English version.
