Journal of Environmental Sciences
Elsevier will take over the international distribution for this journal from IOS Press per subscription year 2007
The Journal of Environmental Sciences is an international journal started in 1989 and sponsored by the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
The objectives of the Journal of Environmental Sciences:
- To report on the latest research achievements and developments;
- To strengthen academic exchanges;
- To promote cooperation in science and technology;
- To contribute to the progress in environmental sciences.
The journal is devoted to publish original, peer-reviewed research papers on main aspects of environmental sciences, such as environmental chemistry, environmental biology, ecology, geosciences and environmental physics. Appropriate subjects include basic and applied research on atmospheric, terrestrial and aquatic environments, pollution control and abatement technology, conservation of natural resources, environmental health and toxicology. Announcements of international environmental science meetings and other recent information are also included.
Submission of Papers:
Authors can submit manuscripts via the JES online system: http://www.jesc.ac.cn. In the manuscript, the author’s mailing and e-mail addresses should appear on the manuscript, and recommending two referees is appreciated. The International System of Units (SI) should be used for all the data as far as possible. References should include all published works refereed to in the text and arranged alphabetically by authors without serial numbering. The author-year system is used in the text. One abstract, 3-5 keywords.
For more details please read the Guide for Authors.
Abstracting/Indexing:
The journal is abstracted and indexed by SCIE, EI, CC (ISI), CA (USA), PA (USA), Biosis(USA), BA(USA), Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (Germany), NAL Serials(USA), ASTA(USA), IRSD(Japan), WCS of EST(Liechtenstein), Geo Abstracts(UK) and Chinese Sci. & Tech. Journal Abstracts(China) etc.
