  • Khin-Kyemon Aung is a student at Harvard University, and a clinical researcher at Beth-Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Previously, she served as a Research Fellow and Peer Mentor at the Cleveland Clinic, where she conducted research on surfactant therapy administration to improve drug delivery in the neonatal intensive care unit. Her work with the Cleveland Clinic has been published nationally, featured as part of the Cleveland Clinic Office of Civic Education Initiatives myResearch illuminated series, and used as inspiration in the Cleveland Clinic eXpressions Program. At Harvard, she has led initiatives to bring greater mentorship and resources to the Harvard pre-medical community, and volunteers at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter to connect homeless populations in the greater Boston area with health care programs and other social services. Her research has been recognized by the Case Western Reserve University Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, and she is a Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation National Scholar.
