 Excerpta Medica Abstract Journal
Description
This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved
both by the scope and structure of the journal, key features of which are:-
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other
bibliographic data) from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each
issue, of abstracts into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers significant articles on radiodiagnosis, radiotherapy
and radiobiology, and includes ultrasound diagnosis, thermography, adverse reactions to radiotherapy and techniques and apparatus. The
applications of radioisotopes, phototherapy and laser therapy are not covered, as they are covered in Section 23: Nuclear Medicine, Section
13: Dermatology and Venereology and appropriate surgical sections respectively.
• Detailed author and keyword indexes to allow
the reader to locate items of special interest.
