The Journal of The Franklin Institute has an established reputation for publishing high-quality papers
in the field of engineering and interdisciplinary mathematics. Its current direction is on information and communication systems and
networks, learning algorithms, signal processing, imaging, sensing, genomics and control theory.
The editors and the editorial board
encourage authors to put forth evolving new topics for publication provided they fall broadly within the scope of the journal. Special
focus issues with a strong conceptual foundation in newly evolving topics are planned for the future.
All submitted papers are peer-reviewed.
The Journal will publish original research papers and research review papers of substance. Papers and special focus issues are judged
upon possible lasting value, which has been and continues to be the strength of the Journal of The Franklin Institute.
