Please note that this title will cease publication at the end of December 2003.

Volume 8, Issue 6 will be the last issue of Spill Science and Technology.

Description

Spill Science & Technology Bulletin is a new international, peer-reviewed journal on oil and chemical spill science and technology, focusing on the effects and control of discharges of oil, oil products and other hazardous substances.
Its aim is to serve as a global forum for the exchange of high quality technical and scientific information between professionals engaged in spill prevention, response and assessment.
The unique aspect of the journal is its focus on solutions derived through enhancements in knowledge and developments of new methodologies and advanced technologies, rather than identification of the impacts of oil and chemical spills.
A sister journal to Marine Pollution Bulletin, Spill Science & Technology Bulletin incorporates the same style including Research papers, Review articles, and Letters to the Editor, a section on New Products and Technologies, as well as sections for News, Book Reviews and Calendar of Meetings of general interest to the spill community.
Subjects are concerned with engineering developments, equipment performance assessments as well as scientific issues, and physical, chemical and biological research findings. Both land and water spill issues are addressed and papers linking science and technology with policy and management matters are also considered appropriate.
