The Complex Care Management program is a multifaceted solution that educates health plan providers about the optimal use of behavioral health medications through best practice guidelines, resources and visits by clinical pharmacists in an effort to reduce pharmacy costs and increase member’s quality of care. Utilizing Complex Care Indicators™, or data filters, the Complex Care Management program identifies patient care practices and prescribing patterns inconsistent with accepted best practices.
