Women's Health: A Core Curriculum has been written to integrally link with the Women's Health Collaborative Core Curriculum being implemented in medical schools across Australia and New Zealand. The structure of the text closely follows that of the curriculum, available at www.whccc.org, and the aims, objectives and stated outcomes of each chapter in the text are aligned to the overall aims and objectives for each unit within the curriculum. The contributor team includes authors of the curriculum, and is an integral resource for the Women's Health component of all undergraduate and post-graduate entry medical degrees as well as student and practising midwives and other health professionals. Contributors include obstetricians, gynaecologists, nurses, midwives and other health professionals from medical schools and major teaching hospitals across Australia and New Zealand.
