Reviews

Heterocyclic compounds encompass over 60 per cent of all organic compounds, so even reviewing just one year's (1989) literature on the common ring system is a major task. The authors are therefore to be congratulated on presenting an enormous amount of material in a very concise and readable form... Clearly this book is essential reading for all who have an interest in heterocyclic chemistry.
Chemistry & Industry

The chapters are essentially self-organized, but a substantial index is provided as a backup. This book is a useful tool in keeping up with a coplex, highly active, and important part of organic chemistry.
