Developments in Palaeontology and Stratigraphy

Edited by

  • P. Wignall, Department of Earth Sciences, University of Leeds, UK

This series aims to provide a forum for in-depth works on current, topical issues in palaeontology and stratigraphy, that are too great in scope for individual journal articles and thematic issues. The broad themes include monographic style treatments of regional stratigraphy together with volumes on the latest developments in palaeontology including subjects such as the origin of life, Cambrian explosion, extinction events and climatic change where the evidence derives from a broad array of geological disciplines. The series reflects this interaction of palaeontology with other emerging areas of research such as geomicrobiology, palaeoecology and ancient climate change and its modelling.Series URL: information on how to submit your book proposal, please contact Tirza van Daalen (Publisher) at or Paul Wignall, the series editor at
