The editors of the Journal of Empirical Finance and Elsevier have introduced the Biannual Award of US$ 5,000 for the best papers published in the Journal of Empirical Finance. The prize will be rewarded every second year for the best paper submitted to and published in a topical special issue of the JEF. The Journal will announce such issues in advance by publishing a call for papers.
