On behalf of the Editors and Elsevier, we would like to congratulate Adeline Samson, Université Paris Descartes on winning the Dr. Norbert Marx award of the Société Française de Statistique (The French Statistical Society). Dr Samson won this prize for her paper "Extension of the SAEM algorithm to left-censored data in nonlinear mixed-effects model: Application to HIV dynamics model" which was published in Elsevier’s journal Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, Volume 51, Issue 3, 1 December 2006

The Norbert Marx prize (worth 4000 Euro) is awarded every 2 years for the best publication in biostatistics or health statistics by a French-speaking statistician.
