A new theory developed at the interface of physics and ecology reveals that natural vegetation cover (forests) plays a by far more significant role in the continental water budget than ever thought. Read more about it in the article: 'Precipitation on land versus distance from the ocean: Evidence for a forest pump of atmospheric moisture' (Ecological Complexity, Article in Press).

Biological Conservation:
Biological Conservation The Centre for Ecology and Conservation at the University of Exeter has sent out a Press Release about the paper 'Aerial surveying of the world’s largest leatherback turtle rookery: A more effective methodology for large-scale monitoring' (Biological Conservation, Article in Press).
