Rudnick (Scripps Institution of Oceanography), published last year in Deep-Sea Research Part I, received the Frieman Prize for the best paper of the past year by a SIO graduate student. |

Call for Papers for ECSS special issueThe journal Estuarine, Coastal and Shelf Science is encouraging submission of manuscripts for a special issue entitled Timescale- and tracer-based methods for understanding the results of complex marine models. The diagnostics to be considered may concern water, passive/inert tracers, biogeochemical variables, sediment particles, etc. Papers presenting theoretical developments or numerical methods, be they of a Eulerian or Lagrangian nature, will also be welcome. The special issue will be guest-edited by Eric Deleersnijder and Eric Delhez. Manuscripts must be submitted by March 31, 2006, at the latest. Please click here for additional information. |
