Elsevier Announces Current Opinion Conference on Cellular Host-Pathogen Interactions
Amsterdam, 4 March 2010 – Elsevier, the world-leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services announced today that the prestigious journal Current Opinion in Cell Biology will host a Cellular Host-Pathogen Interactions Conference, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 5-7 September 2010.
This conference is the first in a new and exciting series of conferences sponsored by the timely and popular Current Opinion journals, and will showcase research to the leading scientists in the field, including the influential Current Opinion editors. These conferences will provide a new level of direct interaction between the leaders in the scientific field and the attending delegates. Emphasis will be placed on the latest unpublished results, extended discussion periods and direct interactions with leaders in the field. Each conference is designed to facilitate extended discussion periods with dedicated networking sessions.
Keynote speakers drawn from the world’s best scientists, will provide an opportunity for scientific researchers and clinicians in the fields of molecular and clinical research to meet and discuss new research in the field, including topics such as pathogen invasion, adaptation, host defense, pathogen life cycle and immune system response.
